Vegan Canna Gingerbread House Cookies

Bringing you an awesome vegan cookie recipe with a twist. Made with blackstrap molasses, Chinese five spices and Canna infused coconut oil all considered to be superfoods. Blackstrap molasses alone is enriched with iron, vitamin B6, calcium and magnesium.

Preheat oven 350f

Ingredients/Directions

Edibles gingerbread

Step 1
Mix with a mixer separate from the dry ingredients
1 c. Vegan coconut Butter or ½ vegan coconut butter and ½ c canna infused coconut oil
¾ blackstrap molasses

1/2 Tbs. Xanthan gum
1 tsp. Chinese five spice
½ tsp. Cinnamon
¾ c. white sugar
1 ¼ c. Brown sugar
Orange zest plus a small amount of juice

Step 2
Mix Separately
½ tsp. Baking Powder
½ tsp. Baking Soda
½ tsp. Kosher Salt
1 Tbs. warm water

Step 3
3 c. Flour
Incorporate flour with all other ingredients

Step 4
Using an 1oz scoop and a silicone mat making cookie rounds and placing them on the silicone and baking for 15 minutes. Remove and place the cookies on a cooling rack then drizzle with icing.

Bake for 15 minutes

Vegan Royal Icing

Chic pea juice

Step 1.

3 oz of drained chic pea juice

Step 2. Whip until foamy

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp imitation butter flavoring

Step 3. Add vanilla and butter flavoring

4 cups of powered sugar

Step 4. Slowly add powered sugar whipping until peaked

Step 5. Thin for decorating with pipping bag with a small amount of water until desired.
