Composting your own waste has several benefit factors. Theres a lot of reasons why, one you’re creating your own fertilizers. Contains Nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, micronutrients and beneficial bacteria that is essential for having a healthy garden or even a living soil. What’s even better is you’re completing a circle. Saving money, using your own waste instead of just adding it to a landfill. Then, did I happen to mention that beautifying your yard, feeding your garden, supplying healthier vegetables to your table and possibly feeding your axolotl. All with items that you would typically just throw away.

No meat or high acid items. Using non chlorine water. How do you get non chlorine water you ask you simply fill a bucket with water and let it sit. So it would be safe to use within 6 hours what happens is that the chlorine evaporates.

Watermelon rinds are also a great addition to feeding your worms. Worms are needed to break down your scraps into a compost. This is known as the very best fertilizer around called vermicomposting.

You also want to start your composting bin with a non fertilized coco or soil. Worms also like warm blankets
